the silver leaf on canvas was made to look like ancient weathered tiles.  Inspired by a recent trip to the Topaki Palace in Istanbul, Turkey.

this was a quickie drawing I made while watching the new-ish Miranda July movie, The Future.  It had some endearing scenes but for the most part sucked.    Her art direction and spread in the Nov 11 issue of Paper Mag sucked even more.  Too bad.  Me You & Everyone We Know really charmed me.
